Andrew MilesBorn and schooled in England, Andrew Miles moved to Canada in 1979. Inspired by the natural beauty and grandeur of the Ontario landscape, art soon became central to his life. He has now been painting professionally for over 25 years. Never content to limit himself to one genre, Andrew has always branched out in every direction. From intimate commissioned portraits to giant commercial murals, landscape realism to dynamic abstracts, his work explores every potential in his chosen medium. Andrew has a passion for painting horses so is happily concentrating on equine images at this stage in his career. All his studio work is oil on canvas. Over the years, his paintings have found their way into numerous private houses, including Canada's wealthiest man the late Kenneth Thomson, and several corporate collections, often selling for substantial sums.
