Born in the south of England and having studied art from an early age Max has painted professionally for nearly 40 years. Painting in numerous mediums and various subjects including seascapes and portraits during his career. Then during the mid-nineties producing a series of successful horse racing images. Max not content to rest on his laurels then decided to leave England and travel extensively around the world, paying for his excursions by painting as he travelled. Now settled Max has returned to his first love and his forte, painting the sport of kings .All his studio work is oil on canvas. Works by Max have found there way in to many private collections, often of the rich and famous and have sold for many thousands in the past.
